Literature Text

You had heard the news this morning. Lovino's girlfriend had broken up with him yesterday, and he was no longer coming to school anymore. Apparently she broke up with him for another man, and it completely shattered the Italian's heart. You did feel bad for Lovino, but you were a bit relieved now. You had liked him ever since you met him, even though he was a bit of a jerk sometimes. He was now single, and this could be your chance. So you decided to visit his home after school today, and hopefully he would be in a good mood.

After school you drove to his house, which wasn't far from the school. The drive only took about twenty minutes, a quick drive considering how fast your car could go. Finally you had made it to his home, and you parked by the sidewalk in front of his home. You took notice in his mailbox, which was filled to the brim with mail. He must have not come out to check in it in awhile. You opened the mailbox and gathered the mail, thinking he probably had important bills to pay and such.

You walked across his yard, mail in hand, as you came closer to the porch steps. You took a graceful leap over the two steps, easily landing on your feet. You knocked on the door quietly, and began to wait. After several minutes, nobody answered. This time you knocked a bit harder, with more pressure this time. Again, no answer. Becoming a bit impatient, you grab the door handle and twist it. Hmm, the door is unlocked, but that is probably a good thing right now.

Slowly you opened the door, peeking your head into the house. The living room and kitchen were dark, and the house was eerily quiet. You walked in quietly, and closing the door behind you. You looked around for any sign of Lovino, but you saw nothing but the empty living room and kitchen. You tiptoed to the hallway, where you were certain Lovino's room would be located. As you came into the hallway you saw a door slightly open, and some light peeking through. Lovino must be in there.

When you approached the door you could hear small cries. Lovino was most likely crying, and as you came close enough to look through the crack of the door, you were correct. There on his bed, he was hugging a pillow and sobbing into it. Lovino was wearing pajamas and his hair was more ruffled than usual. You pushed the door open slowly with your hand, taking one step into his room. Surprisingly his room was clean, and Lovino was known to be messy.

You looked at him, your eyes locked on him. "Lovino?" You whispered. You watched at his face lifted from the face of the pillow. His cheeks were shiny from the streams of tears, and his eyes were a bit red. You saw a tear escape his eye as he looked up at you. He noticed it was you and then buried his face once more into the pillow. A muffled "Go away." was heard. You shook your head. You weren't going to leave, you had gotten so far and you weren't going to go now.

You set the mail onto a desk near the door, and you walked over to the bed. You took a seat next to Lovino, looking at him, hoping he would lift his head again or something. You leaned closer to him, keeping yourself up with one arm. "Lovino, I heard what happened. Do you want to talk about it?" You asked him, a worried expression plastered on your face. Lovino was no longer crying anymore. He lifted his head and he looked at you with a sad look, "I don't want to. Now leave (Name)." He said in a rude tone.

You sighed. Was he really going to be this difficult? You were there for him, and he was rejecting your help. This was going to be a pain. You grabbed the pillow and set it down on the floor. Before he could react, you gave him a hug. You rested your head on his shoulder, "Lovi, please tell me about it. I want to help you get through this." You said quietly into his ear. "(N-Name)..?" Lovino stuttered, his arms now around you.

You pulled away and looked into his eyes, a reassuring smile on your face. Lovino looked at you with wide eyes, seeming to be shocked that you helping him. He sighed, "I guess I have no choice." He said, a small smile on his face now. Lovino then began to tell you about what happened between his girlfriend. What actually happened was that his girlfriend found out he loved someone else, and she was jealous about this. So she broke up with him.

Lovino admitted that he did love another girl, more than his ex-girlfriend. "And that's what happened. I did like her, but I was very new to having a girlfriend. So I wasn't used to being broken up with." Lovi said, averting his eyes from you. "Oh okay. But who was this other girl you liked?" You asked him, a bit curious as to whom. Lovino didn't answer, and kept his eyes averted from you. You then noticed a blush on his face, not just his cheeks, but his whole face.

"Lovino? You okay?" You asked, in almost a teasing tone. "I-I um..." Lovino started, but stopped mid-sentence. "Yes?" You asked, telling him to continue with what he was saying. He looked up and you and his face grew even redder, "I-I love you (Name)." Lovino said, hiding his face in his hands. Your face was now a light pink, and you felt like you could kiss him right there and then.

You took Lovino's face in your hands, and you pulled him closer to your face. Your lips met his, soft lips meeting slightly chapped lips. His eyes closed as you kissed him, and you wrapped your arms around his neck. Lovino pulled away and looked at you with a puzzled look, "Does this mean you love me to (Name)?" Lovino asked you, hope in his eyes. You gave a small smile and nodded, "Yes Lovino, I have always loved you." You admitted, a blush still tinting your cheeks.

Lovino kissed you once more, but this time it was a small and quick one. "D-Do you want to go out with me bella?" He asked you, calling you beautiful in Italian at the end. Your smile grew bigger at the question. "Yes Lovino, of course." And with that, you both started to kiss each other. The kiss being filled with emotion, love and passion. You were truly happy.

    -The End.
This story is kind of based off a true story. My guy friend had actually had his heart broken and I went to his house after school. We talked and such and we ended up confessing our love for each other. And he asked me out. Sadly that came to and end when I moved away.

Well enough of my story time, I hope this is good to you guys. Or someone C:
